I've been in only a handful of real relationships. I cheated on my first boyfriend, we fought about it then made up but I could tell he never forgave me. We called it quits over 'distance'. My second boyfriend, we had an open relationship, a really open relationship. Sometimes I think he forgot I was there, he didn't notice when I left.
I let my third one know that I don't always associate sex with affection, but I could stop it if he wanted me to, and he did. It was good for a little while... but we never talked enough. It grew old and stale and we parted ways over a Japanese dinner.
