I visited the library and spoke with a woman named Scarab. I learned of the creature called the Pyramid Head. I believe The City may be a place between worlds, the bleed. My Lord, if this is a test I'll pass with flying colors.

I guess it would be if you were to leave the confines of the city without going through one of these 'exits.' Doesn't seem like anyone who's done it has lived to tell about it.
