Well, it was before you told me what I could do to repay you. Ianto and I were plant shopping, we got plants for everyone. Well, except for Andy, because he hadn't arrived yet, and John, because we hate him a little. And also he doesn't live with us. Ianto picked it out, it's sort of unusual and spiky, but pretty.

Helicona. It's tropical. The flowers are actually sort of the spiky bits, and they're really just leaves not flowers at all. Hummingbirds pollinate them.

I've watched Owen autopsy chunks of alien meat and then had pizza afterward. Don't really think I'll be bothered by some fake blood and body parts.

Oh god, Blowfish are probably the scene-chewers of the alien world. Especially when they're hopped up.

You're welcome. I was afraid you'd be unhappy about having an unexpected guest. But this is sort of fun. And you're not asking me uncomfortable questions that'll make me say things I really don't want to be saying out loud, so I appreciate that.

Sorry, I was thinking of the orange aliens who like to drive flashy cars and raise hell. Makes it a little harder to keep the whole 'aliens among us' thing quiet when you've got a Blowfish on the loose.

*Tosh doesn't mind, she appreciates the company, and she's grateful there's not an awkward 'why are you here?' silence to deal with.*

I'm glad it's me and not you, too. I'll miss him when he's grown too big and has to go.

*She nods at the reply about Jack, still worried but not pushing for answers she imagines Cori doesn't have anyway.*
