Don't you know sensationalizing death is another way of proving true that it's not murder if no one misses you? Do something about it or shut the fuck up, it was sloppy work for chrissake.

[Private to C. Styles]

Here's your report.

Her name's Naomi Misora, a former FBI agent. She joined the bureau around 9/11 and handled a fair amount of homicides in the Los Angeles area, including the L.A. BB Serial Murder Case (never heard of it myself). She left the bureau a couple years later after becoming engaged to a fellow Agent Raye Penbar, but the little lady became a widow before they ever had a wedding. Agent Penbar died of a heart attack in Japan in 2003, shortly after Christmas, something to do with a suspected "Kira." She has trouble reconciling the fact that her favorite filling (white chocolate raspberry) resembles DOAs on occasion (shotgun blast to the face).

Anything else?

Do you know why she's keeping her name under tabs?

They never found the murderer. She tailed her suspect to Japan and met with Yagami Light, his face appears in her dreams so I assume they're acquainted. Everything stops there, if she's not dead now she would have been. More than likely she didn't have a sanction to follow the investigation.

That would explain her discomfort in giving me generally standard information.

So she tracks serial killers. That's fairly standard practice, nothing specialized there.

Any personal opinions?

This isn't standard practice for her anymore; it's personal.

Possibly. If the situation calls for it.

Careful, she's a smart girl. The name George comes to mind.

She does bear a remarkable resemblance. Same kind of attitude.

But the way things look now, she's going to get herself killed before I can do anything.

Cori-dahling, their perpetual woeing is crude, redundant, and utterly old news.

I demand proper entertainment.

The word you're looking for is murdered. No one here truly dies, the City is full of murderers, but they're terrible killers.

...so it could get across and be decapitated by the half rabid ugly girl?

No.

Justifiable homicide.

Cu~te.

....hmmmm. It's almost that time of the year anew. Why, Corinthian - the memories. This almost has me on my knees in prayer.

True. With no law here, and no State Department, I have no reason to go after her, but if they take this to court, then this information can be used.

Isn't that a little unfair for those who would not be missed? Is their life worth less?

All life has meaning. I can't pretend to mourn the death of someone I've never known, but I can mourn the life and death of someone with no one to cry for them.
